About me
My name is Mio.
I discovered Reiki by chance.
From my very first experience, I was won over by its simplicity. Putting my hands down, feeling, listening, calming, or raising the vibrations of your being. Allowing the body to regain its balance through deep relaxation, rediscovering a free and fluid flow of energy.
Of Japanese origin, I have inherited the wisdom and grace of my mother’s culture. I used to live in Kyoto, and during my stay I went to Mount Kurama several times, instinctively drawn to this place where I breathed better and felt joyful. About ten years later, when I was learning Reiki in Europe, I heard that Mount Kurama was the place where, in 1922, Mikao Usui practiced a spiritual asceticism, and discovered Reiki, a method of healing the spirit.
My life has been enriched by many experiences and teachings, and today I’m happy to bring them together in the practice of Reiki. With a background in dance and music, I’ve been practicing aikido (the way of harmonious energies) and yoga for over 20 years. Suffering from a chronic illness at a very young age, I have actively explored both traditional and natural means of healing.
I am intimately convinced that Reiki, combined with other approaches, is a powerful tool that provides a deep guide to the path of kindness and inner peace.
